Spanish photographer Cristina de Middel (born 1975) bought a collection of Polaroids taken in the jungle in Tulum, Mexico. For Jungle Check, de Middel and British photographer Kalev Erickson (born 1982) traveled to the same jungle, and photographed recreations and reinterpretations of scenes from the original Polaroids.
