Warranties
Many of the products available from Swyper Connection include a manufacturer’s warranty. For select products, we also offer an extended warranty option for additional protection and peace of mind.
Mack Diamond Warranty
The Mack Diamond Warranty provides coverage for eligible equipment against manufacturer defects that may result in loss of operation. Covered repairs include parts and labor at no additional charge, subject to the terms and conditions of the warranty.
The warranty may also provide coverage for malfunctions resulting from Accidental Damage from Handling (ADH).
This can include accidental liquid damage and other forms of accidental damage. Coverage for accidental damage, including liquid damage, is subject to the terms and approval of Mack Worldwide Warranty.
MACK 3-Year Diamond International Warranty
The MACK 3-Year Diamond International Warranty provides up to three years of coverage for eligible camera equipment, beginning from the original purchase date.
Depending on the terms of the warranty, coverage may include:
- Manufacturer defects.
- Accidental damage.
- Unintentional abuse.
- Accidental impact.
- Sand or grit damage.
- Accidental water or liquid damage.
Please note that fire damage, loss, and theft are not covered. The damaged equipment must be recoverable for coverage to apply.
Coverage for Multiple Items
Up to two items—one camera body and one lens—from any manufacturer may be covered under the same warranty, provided the combined purchase price of the items before taxes falls within the applicable warranty price bracket.
MACK will determine the appropriate repair or settlement at its discretion and in accordance with the applicable warranty terms.
If an item is determined to be uneconomical to repair, MACK may issue a settlement cheque based on the market value of the equipment at the time of the claim.
Warranty Purchase & Registration
The extended warranty may be purchased within 30 days of the original equipment purchase.
Before the warranty can be registered, the equipment must be physically inspected by a Swyper Connection sales associate.
Please note that the three-year warranty period begins on the original purchase date of the equipment, not on the date the extended warranty is purchased or registered.
All warranty coverage is subject to the applicable terms, conditions, exclusions, and approval requirements of the warranty provider.
